Liz, i can't help with Zorro. he has either a screw too loose in his head, or too tight. he just goes on and on....

after he left it soon began to rain, fortunately. otherwise who knows how long he would have been working. :whistling:
18:00:34 the camera went to sleep.
this is the first time it went till later than 18:00. spring is coming! :headroll:

good morning Liz and loggers!
i hope they get a nice long holiday soon. :whistling:
they started today at 9:05. they are rather near now.

8:35 the bird was not a real eagle, but a fake eagle.
a joking and giggling jay. Image

it's raining hard and the fog&clouds are so thick that the tower lights were invisible in the dark, not to mention now.

it sounds like it is raining again

no rain! the stream / the brook is splashing. But it's a bit foggy
Image

8:31 and I hear a tractor. That is such a typical sound. I know it from my youth

good morning Liz and all!

no loggers today. :innocent:
i guess that there will be no eagles either, unless the rain stops and weather improves.
the clouds and/or fog were so thick in the early morning that the tele tower lights were invisible again.

3rd edit: when i was wondering who the bird at 8:55 was i remembered that earlier i had heard a nuthatch talking near the nest with her more 'ordinary' voice. i found it: it was at 8:44.
later i slowly added up 1 plus 2 and i got 3.
8:44 the nuthatch:

8:55 a strange bird's voice. the same has been calling here every now and then in the past days. it's about the only bird now, besides jays, crows and ravens. and great tits and nuthatches. and a tawny owl. there are a few left.
what bird is it? :puzzled:

edit: hahaa! i think i found a solution. i think that the bird is a nuthatch. i found a sample of similar calls in xenocanto: Sitta europea: https://xeno-canto.org/897670

2nd edit:
Mārtiņš D had already identified the voice in YT chat. i just didn't understand the reply as GT translated nuthatch to deep! :slap:
thank you Mārtiņš D!
