12: 48. Field Sparrow (Passer montanus) on a visit.
The looks of the nest, it can be assumed that ospreys visit it, stomp and shift stick. No green grass!

Today we have a visitor in Mati's nest again. He or she seems to like the nest.

14: 32. I loaded the stream and saw an unringed osprey. She's obviously had lunch recently. Now the osprey is cleaning his beak.
14: 43. Unringed osprey took off on the webcam.

Beautiful bird....
I think that while I was downloading the video, the osprey flew off the webcam.
15: 00. No, osprey is still on the webcam!

So, here are few pictures from earlier today.
First, MM at around 10:45 local time. A little camera-shy, maybe.
Then a second (male?) osprey scared her off.
No. 2 on the nest in an assertive posture.

I find it somewhat difficult for the males to distinguish them. We already had some young gentlemen here to visit. On vacation I will try to create a folder with pictures and date from this thread. So maybe I'll recognize better distinctive features and repeaters.
In the females there were 3 ladies so far. Is that correct or am I wrong?
However, MM seems to be the most likely new candidate for the nest.

I look forward to the portfolio of all participants in the competition for the nest! The lady MM is a clear contender for the nest. Anyway, it's obvious to me. Maybe because her easy to identify.....

Good day, Hellem! It's MM. She flew into the nest at 10: 52. There was another osprey in the sky. MM was unhappy with the presence of another osprey. Then MM jumped on the webcam. Unfortunately I didn't manage to record the beginning of a dialogue between two of the ospreys!

Amazingly, despite the drastic falloff in birdsong activity on all the Baltic webcams (quite normal for July), it seems like the Sedge Warbler (Acrocephalus schoenobaenus) still sings all night long and into early morning somewhere near this nest. Here's a short segment from this morning (nothing to see, just listen).
