First, MM at around 10:45 local time. A little camera-shy, maybe.
Then a second (male?) osprey scared her off.
No. 2 on the nest in an assertive posture.
Oh! This is clearly a male! His eyes are burning, vigor in everything!![]()
I look forward to the portfolio of all participants in the competition for the nest! The lady MM is a clear contender for the nest. Anyway, it's obvious to me. Maybe because her easy to identify.....Polly wrote: July 19th, 2018, 5:04 pm I find it somewhat difficult for the males to distinguish them. We already had some young gentlemen here to visit. On vacation I will try to create a folder with pictures and date from this thread. So maybe I'll recognize better distinctive features and repeaters.![]()
In the females there were 3 ladies so far. Is that correct or am I wrong?![]()
However, MM seems to be the most likely new candidate for the nest.![]()
Good day, Hellem! It's MM. She flew into the nest at 10: 52. There was another osprey in the sky. MM was unhappy with the presence of another osprey. Then MM jumped on the webcam. Unfortunately I didn't manage to record the beginning of a dialogue between two of the ospreys!Hellem wrote: July 20th, 2018, 11:09 am July 20
