Kuremari is in Romania near Bacau near the river Siret not far away from the border to Moldova. Little Kuremari made a total of 317 km in one day! 👍

Although we can follow Kuremari I am very sad that we dont see anything of Kaia, Kalvi, Metsoja and Waba. :cry:

Where are they? If they are still alive we should see tracking data. Or are they all that late?

So Timmu is OK now but for some reason he did not send any signals from the end of September till March, for almost six months.

Hi everyone! :hi:

I just had a look at last year's migration, and Waba and Bonus only started moving in the last days of April. So I guess it need not be a bad sign that we haven't yet heard from Kalvi and Metsoja. Maybe also Waba.

Kaia's silence is certainly worrying, though... I had hoped that, just maybe, when the camera went online again, she would sit there and all would be okay. :unsure:

I only wish there had been more birds to track this spring. There's still some time for at least some things to turn out better than they seem now, but all in all this season looks depressing so far. :sad:

Today, Kuremari did not make much progress.
Maybe because the weather was not good? (I haven't checked)
But the battery level dropped from 86% yesterday to 57% today.
Presumably it has been a cloudy and rainy day.

The XYZ graph looks perfectly normal, so there's no reason to worry, I believe

Kuremari is slightly west of Bukcha, a little village in Gomel Region, Belarus

Just to keep our spirits up for the time being, I have looked at last year's Birdmap at this date. Karl II, Nurme and Timmu were home, Kergu and Kaia still on their way, and the young ones (Bonus and Waba) still in Africa.

Let's hope for some positive developments in the coming days. :bow:

Today, our Kuremari continued her journey north.
However, she did not travel a very long distance.
The battery level dropped a bit more today. It was quite cloudy and drizzled.

Kuremari reached Salihorsk in the Minsk region of Belarus. She is south of the Salihorskaje Reservoir on the river Sluč.
