Good morning Eagle friends!

I think the broadcast is going pretty well now. Better at least and things seem to be going well.
Two visits so far: 07:09 - 17, 07:18 - 22

I wish the couple and LVM a good season. :2thumbsup:

Not much happened, or there were interruptions.
I tried to tell who was who based on the thickness of the legs/toes. First the female, then the male?

Sorry, golden eagles are different from goshawks.
But both are active around each other. There was activity and calls during each visit.

Recording:

Btw: I noted a raven with a question mark. :rotf:
I didn't realize or rather didn't think about it that the male had such a special voice. Really unique, amusing...lovable.
So the raven we heard is the male golden eagle.

Labdien, Vērotāji! Šodien, 05.03.2025., 07:09 un 07:18 ligzdā Spilve ar zariem. Garām palidojam bija redzams arī otrs ērglis. Vēl 10:14 netālu bija dzirdams ērglis.
Vakar, 04.03.2025., biju purvā pie otrās tiešraides ligzdas, tā nav krāmēta. Virs purva redzēju lidojam klinšu ērgli.
Patreiz tiešraide ir noīsināta, jo nav saules. Kolīdz uzspīdēs saule, tiešraidi pagarināsim.

Svarīgi būtu saprast, vai ērgļi pārojas, es pārošanās saucienus līdz šim neesmu dzirdējis.

Hello, Observers! Today, 05.03.2025, 07:09 and 07:18 at the nest Pilve with branches. We also saw a second eagle flying past. At 10:14, an eagle was heard nearby.
Yesterday, 04.03.2025, I was in the swamp at the second live broadcast nest, it is not littered. I saw a golden eagle flying over the swamp.
Currently, the live broadcast is shortened because there is no sun. As soon as the sun shines, we will extend the live broadcast.

It would be important to understand whether the eagles are mating, I have not heard mating calls so far.

Well, the male rushed out of the nest when the female called outside.
The "pattern" could show that mating is taking place.

But perhaps Goshawk observers should not answer this question.
(Ps: "our" Goshawks also like to mate away from and almost unheard of the nest... :whistling: )
So there is a new sign that we should pay attention to.
There were actually no doubts for me.

No pairing, or?

But definitely a couple's whispering.
I would be interested to know whether this vocal tone is often found in golden eagles?

Good evening everyone!

The stream ran until noon today.

I tried really hard, listened for large parts but I didn't hear any mating.

Visiem Vērotājiem sirsnīgs sveiciens! Neizmērojams prieks par mūsu Spilvi un Grīsli. Trīs dienas strādāju pie mazo ērgļu kamerām, otrdien jābūt tiešsaistē jaunajai sistēmai Lisiņā, Aizkuja būs dažas dienas vēlāk, jāmaina rūteris, izbeidzies

A warm greeting to all Observers! I am very happy about our Spilvi and Grīsli. I worked on the lesser spotted eagle cameras for three days, the new system in Lisinė should be online on Tuesday, Aizkuja will be a few days later, the router needs to be changed, it is out of date
