On BR-Television in Germany they showed a video about three white squirrels. They were found on a street - very little and not able to live without help. A woman which knows how to help squirrels took them at home. She prepares a special meal and takes care until they are able to live alone.

Thank you for your kind words, Felis silvestris! I wish I was able to put a cam behind my window, for the squirrels! They visit quite seldom. Several days have gone, and they have not visited here. But I am quite sure there are a couple of squirrels who have nest at 60 m far from the house on the top a spruce! I have seen them climbing there up and down, but they are to far to take a photo. And I try to not disturb them if they possible have pups!! I am so curious, but...

Today one familiar looking squirrel visited, for long time! I have a lot photos of her(??), about 30 or so.. I have tryed to choose the best of them here. Ther squirrel was surprised of a 'dog snack' that I had left there on the platform. Some times I call from the window to my doggies to come, and I give them some little snack then.. The squirrel noticed it and she was curious but.. you will see

Soon the squirrel went home! I saw again two squirrels on the spruce at the other side of the house!

After the squirrel some new visitors appeared!

Sooo cute Did not try the dog treat though.

I can see that also on Squirrel Hill the snow has melted and spring has started! I think when the winter is over, the squirrels do not come so frequently anymore. Those at my office window came mostly in autum and winter. In summer we just see them running past or up and down some trees nearby.
There are several dreys there and this winter I could see, that there are at least two also in the trees near where I live. Only during summer there are so many leaves, one can't see anything.

We had some ducks walking around the other day and three male also spent the night there.

Yes, there are here in the world lot of more surprising beautiful beings than one can imagine..








For about one year ago there was here a link, to see a video camera view to a feeder where used to visit a squirrel with white tail! It was special squirrel too.
