Hello everyone
First of all, a big thank you to Hulbi, Swenja, Francesca, Bea and Juta for all the work done.
Regarding
TRAUMA
Since I was a bit worried already a few days ago about the shorter distances Trauma has been flying in the past few days, and the long periods she spends on the ground, I looked at her (his?) XYZ graph. This showed that her transmitter had shifted (sideways) quite a bit since 20 April. I sent my findings to Urmas.
Yesterday, April 28, I received his reply:
"I was in field for last five days and did not check my mailbox there. Thanks for notes about Trauma! It seems like transmitter moved to the other side of the back bone, but no other changes in data. It happened in the early morning. It could be that Trauma got stuck a bit in some branch or something similar. Fortunately, the transmitter is not moving much on the bird. The position changed and stays there (for now).
Trauma passed a BS nest with a single male on it, at about 2 km, yesterday [April 27].
A miracle did not happen, yet.
Hopefully ..."

Yesterday, Trauma didn't fly much. So I'm not entirely reassured yet. Hopefully Trauma has not gotten injured again. But perhaps the weather was simply not good for flying? Or perhaps she’s ‘refuelling’?
We will keep an eye on her!
And yes, may a miracle happen for all those lonely males in Estonia.
